The ELM chip is an extremely popular chip with the DIY mechanics. Although the ELM chip is known for its slower pulling speeds, it is a low cost, very popular chip that has been in use for years. The designers of the ELM chip (ELM Electronics) work with many distributors who supply the ELM based interfaces to consumers. Digimoto 5.0 is fully compliant with all ELM based chips (320,322,323,327 etc.). If you are looking for an ELM based hardware solution we recommend www.obd2allinone.com. They offer high quality ELM327 based interfaces at an extremely low price. The ELM327 chip supports all OBDII protocols: ISO15765-4 (CAN), ISO14230-4 (KWP2000), ISO9141-2, J1850 VPW, J1850 PWM.

| It looks as if the software is finding your scanner, but your scanner is not finding your car, this could be a compatability issue with your single protocol tool and yoru vehicle. Email me at donna@digimoto.com for furthor help in determining if this is indeed the problem.
