This is going to be an evolving post. I will update as time goes on. Screenshots:

You will notice on the new charts tab we allow our users to add/remove/size/move the charts around. We allow multiple versions of the same chart to be used if desired. The 5.0 application is designed so that you can have a PID selected on the main tab, the same PID shown on the gauge tab and the same PID being displayed on the charts tab and all will update at the same moment the value of the PID is retrieved from the vehicle.

The 5.0 freeze frame tab is fully functional and allows users to scroll through the various frames to view information within the vehicle related to error codes thrown.

We used the same methodology for both gauges and charts. Both tabs are extremely flexible with how you lay out your objects. The charts and gauges are built off of templates which allow us to build our customers any type of Chart/Gauge using any type of graphics against any type of PID. Flexibility here is key and we do not limit you to how much you wish to display or how you want to display it.

Digimoto now supports over 90+ Scannable PID requests (this does not include access to the non chartable/gaugable PIDs which we also provide). This is a huge jump from the 22 previously supported PIDs. We now give our customers full access to their vehicles information.
http://www.digimoto.com/images/troublecodes.jpg The trouble codes tab now also displays pending trouble codes. We found a few issues within our 4.03 database and cleaned/added a massive amount of new error codes. The Digimoto database holds over 10k error codes within its system.
The Mode 5 Oxygen Sensor features will allow you to retreive oxygen sensor test result data from your vehicle, providing all relative information to the oxygen bank/sensor combinations provided by your vehicle. $01 - Rich to lean sensor threshold voltage (constant), $02 - Lean to rich sensor threshold voltage (constant), $03 - Low sensor voltage for switch time calculation (constant), $04 - High sensor voltage for switch time calculation (constant), $05 - Rich to lean sensor switch time (calculated), $06 - Lean to rich sensor switch time (calculated), $07 - Minimum sensor voltage for test cycle (calculated), $08 - Maximum sensor voltage for test cycle (calculated), $09 - Time between sensor transitions (calculated), $0A - Sensor period (calculated) are PIDs supported in this module.
We have exposed forms to allow you to modify preferences on both the gauges and the charts to change their colors, titles, various appearance properties etc. On the gauges you can modify the color/titles, enable/disabe the glass affects, add or modify the gradiants etc. With charts you have the option to change the series color, the back color, change number of ticks, modify x/y axis properties such as grid lines, modify the legend properties, display labels for each data point, modify the title and its properties etc.
One of the cool new features in Digimoto is the ability to right click any gauge or chart on your page. You can modify the gauge/chart properties this way, print the gauge or chart, save the gauge or chart as an image (.jpeg, .bmp, .emf, .gif, .png, .tiff format) or even remove the item (you can also quickly remove a gauge or chart by clicking on the object and hitting the delete key on your keyboard). You can also right click anywhere on the panels to reset your dashboards or add new gauges or charts.
We have added printing functionality to digimoto allowing you to print basically any grid, any gauge or any chart within the application. This was a huge step up for Digimoto in the 4.03 application which offered no printing features at all.

| Forums are nice, but NOT a substitiute for a programs Help. I am having trouble understanding the method for continuous logging data and having trouble with the O2 sensor charts features. When I log data, it sends a snapshot of current information to the data log tab and allows me to save it. I need continuous data. How can I accomplish that? The O2 sensors tab is not working for me, even though testing is complete on the O2 testing and the tab reports that it is a supported function of my ECU. Can I SAVE a chart as well as print it?

I am not sure what you consider to be recent, but Digimoto 5 has already been out for over a year and has had several updates to it. If you would like to update from Digimoto 4.03, a licensing purchase will be required, contact me for a return customer Discount code. Be sure to provide your earlier purchase information. donna@digimoto.com

Most vehicles do not readily provide this MPG and Horsepower in OBDII format. The gauges and graphs show SAE defined sensor information.

To log data, on the main tab select the supported sensors you would like to log data for. Then click Data Logging at the top. you will begin logging data and continue to do so as long as you are connected and stay on the Main, Gauges and Charts Tabs. When you are done logging you man click the Data Log tab to view or save the log.

If you do not get any data on the O2 sensor tab, then your vehicle does not support this function. It is different than the other O2 information shown on other tabs.

I have questions about Digimoto 5.0.
I purchased Digimoto 4.03 mOByDic Package back in November 2005.
This included a mOByDic 2600, as seen on the PC Board inside.
There are no markings on the case, other than the MOByDic logo, that
indicate model, version or serial #.
I have been using this successfully on pre 2005 vehicles.
I now am using it on a 2005 Chevy Equinox which has the newer CAN protocol.
On the Digimoto 4.03 trouble codes tab it says, "No Error Codes", but it shows two codes listed, P00AA and B2AAA.
These appear to be invalid codes as I cannot find them listed anywhere. From what I can tell, everything after the leading Alpha character should be Numeric.
Is there an explanation of why these codes show up?
I am wondering if the newer 5.0 version of Digimoto will provide me improved functionality?
That is, will it read more codes and is it compatible with the moByDic 2600 I received in
that package in late 2005?
Thanks for any clarification you can provide
JimW
