When running 5.0, please use the full license key provided to you . The current beta does not allow you to run the software in Trial mode (although it looks like you can). If you do not enter a valid key, the application will not let you run it. Trial mode will be enabled with a later release.

The computer you are installing the software on must have an internet connection to activate the software, if you do not activate the software the program will exit (even though it says you have x days available).

The zip file contains two files a "setup.exe" file and a "Digimoto5Setup.msi" file. Copy both files out of the zip file to any direction and double click the setup.exe file to begin installation.

The Digimoto 5.0 software requires Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista. We will no longer be supporting Win98 as we move forward.

I also suggest you uninstall the Digimoto 4.03 software and reboot your machine. (The 5.0 software does not interact at all with 4.03, but for your own sanity, let's keep the machine clean!).

I imagine the link to the software will accompany the license key?

In regards to the second requirement. If you are not sure which version you have installed use this link to find out.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785

If you don't want to visit that link here is a condensed description.

Determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed on a computer

The easiest way to determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed on a computer is to locate the %systemroot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework folder. You can paste the listed address for the Framework folder into a Windows Explorer address bar to navigate to the Framework folder. The three released versions of the .NET Framework are contained in the following folders:

• v1.0.3705
• v1.1.4322
• v2.0.50727

Hi,

I ordered the digimoto software and asked for a V5 license key a week ago and haven't had a reply by email. I'm assuming they've been busy over the last week and haven't had time to answer all of their emails.
I thought i'd mention this in the forum before I annoy someone by sending another email. I was hoping I would get a reply so I could try the new software out over the christmas period because I'm having real troubles with my car.

Many thanks,
Andy
