I got one and tested it this past weekend, and it worked great on every protocol, ISO, VPW, PWM and CAN. Cost $99 and it worked with all the free OBD2 scanning packages I tried, including Digimoto Lite. CAN data was very impressive on the 2006 Toyota truck I ran it on. Ran it on a 2001 Ford Mustang, a 2006 Acura MDX, and a 1999 Chevy van also. The unit was solidly built and quite compact.

Digimoto Lite worked great with it.  Any of the freeware versions of the software listed on the www.obd2allinone.com site worked fine.  The freeware version of Scanmaster wasn't fully functional with the one CAN Toyota truck I tried, but worked with all the other protocols.  Using the Scantool.net software, although it is simple, provided an impressive amount of data from the CAN truck.... time since ECU reset, mileage, etc.

So you used Digimoto Lite on these vehicles, I'm assuming in CAN also? The reason I am so interested is because if Digimoto Lite works with this new interface, even the CAN vehicles, than Digimoto 4.xx should work with it too.

It doesn't work. See the docs of ELM327 and you will know why.

I'm not sure what Gerhard is talking about. Like the original poster, I also bought this unit and found it to work well with Digimoto Lite (and the other free software mentioned on the website). If Digimoto Lite works, then I assume the full version of Digimoto will work too. The existing software for the Elm chips generally seems to treat the Elm 327 as equivalent to the 320/322/323 for talking to VPW, PWM, and ISO vehicles. The Elm 327 interface does have to be set to run at 9600 baud, but the obd2allinone has a jumper to select the baud rate. I have not tried CAN or PWM, but ISO and VPW worked well. I'm happy with the obd2allinone product, and with the service from the company.

Does the ELM327 work with Digimoto to scan in CAN protocol?
