    Hi all

    one or our customers has let me have his scan tool for his volvo v70 as i have been using it more than him i think by the chip no its an ELM 323 

i have been using it occasionally with his laptop up to now which has now broken   what do i have to do and how much money is involved to get the download for my laptop

Ok, here we go, I have worked on cars all my life and have never responded to a post on any forum, but this guy with the Elm scan tool is going to get taken for some bucks and I thought I would just lead him away from the vultures. Go on Ebay and seek out "Elm Scan Tools" there you will find the tool you are using and along with their sales of the tool comes a link to the download and drivers for your tool and it is free. If I am not mistaken, that Elm tool you are using is of the basic of the basic OBDII generic tools and should be a snap to upload and you are on your way. Good Luck & Aloha.
