I went through the usb installation help document, but the device can't find a driver. I did the download instead of ordering a CD so I can't "insert the CD" to have it find the driver there. Where can I get the file that I need?

I have a problem with digimoto 5,which i bought and downloaded yesterday. The installation was easy and succeeded.I use a AGV2055 interface and a serial to USB-adapter using COM-port 4.The interface is ELM-compatible and is recognized by the software. But as soon I click "open ELM device",I get the message "Could not open ELM serial reader..."
Can anyone help me,please!

Having some trouble getting Digimoto to recognise my USB/serial adapter (which is working fine with Vag-com). So in looking a the documentation, the screenshot in the quick start guide shows 'auto-detect'. That would be groovy except my screen only has 'auto detect com port' and has only two items in the drop down menu for interface type. Neither of which is the kind I'm using.
USB/Serial converter (FTDI) on COM5
The USB cable itself has the LED indicator showing green. Even when I put in all the com settings manually I can't connect. Says: Please select an interface type. As I mentioned, neither of the two listed items work.
I can't imagine I'm the first person to have this problem. Am I missing an update or is something configured wrong.
Thanks,

Thanks for the response. I haven't looked at this since last weekend..
COM settings match what's listed in device manager for that port.
Bps: 9600
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop: One
Flow: None
Think I'll try getting my converter to use their driver. Seems like that is all it's looking for.

| The issue is most likely your USB to serial adapter, there are some that Digimoto does not seem to work with. If you did not purchase it from us, it is possible it will not work. Also, the "Auto detect" button has been changes to "Auto Detect COM Port" and you choose your scan tool. This shortens the search time for the tool as it does not have to cycle through all ports looking for both ELM and mOByDic tools. For further connection issues. please email me at donna@digimoto.com.

hello,
i have the same connection problem as paul750. I'm using a
USB/Serial converter (FTDI) on COM5
with the same settings on COM5. The software does not find my adapter.
Has anybody solved the problem yet?
