To install Digimoto, simply run digimoto40fw.exe from the location you have it saved. Click next and proceed through the steps. After it is installed, click finish, then run Digimoto. If it prompts you to install .NET Framework, you must install it in order for the Digimoto application to function.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     When you first run Digimoto, it will ask you for your Customer ID and License. Enter in the information you were provided with when you ordered Digimoto. Click register and Digimoto will load.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     The first thing we recommend you do is select which type of hardware interface you have purchased. If you have an ELM based interface (Scantool, etc.) then select ELM. If you have a mOByDic based interface (mOByDic 2600, etc), then select mOByDic.

 

 

 

 

     After that, go to your Settings>Com Settings. Select which COM Port you have your USB or Serial cable plugged in to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     Select which way you would like Digimoto to display information. English, which will make it display in English measurements. Metric, to display information in Metric measurements.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     When you are ready to connect Digimoto to your vehicle, go to Connection>Open and click Open to connect to your vehicle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

      When you are connected, it will show in the bottom left hand corner. Be sure to check it to make sure you are connected before you try to do anything with the software.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

      The main tab displays all sensor readings. To see what a sensor is reading, simply click the check box next to each sensor, or Check/Uncheck all to see or not see all of the sensor readings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

     The gauge tab displays gauges for certain sensor readings. To activate a gauge, simply click the checkbox next to each gauge.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     The charts tab displays charts for what you decide they display. Simply click the drop down box and select which type of information you wish to display. Then, to activate the chart, click the check box next to each chart label.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     The error codes tab displays what the cause is for your CEL light. Click refresh to pull the codes, and clear to clear them. To turn on error logging, go to Settings>Error Log>On.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     The freeze frame data tab allows you to capture sensors at certain times. Select which sensors you wish to capture by clicking the check box next to each sensor label.

 

 

 

 

 

 

     The data log tab displays the records of the sensor information your vehicle is sending Digimoto. To save this log, click save. To clear the data, click clear. To turn on data loggin, go to Data Logging>On.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

     The serial interface tab allows you to manually send a command into your vehicle and then it will give you the response. Simply enter in which code you want to pull, and then click send.

 

 

 

 

 

 

     The quater mile tab allows you to test the performance of your vehicle. Simply press start, and as soon as your vehicle starts moving the test is initiated, and will display it accordingly. Once the test is done, the signs on the left will activate.

 

 

 

 

 

     The dyno tab allows you to see how much horsepower and torque your vehicle has. Enter in your vehicles information accordingly. We recommend you do the test in 3rd gear, from 0 MPH to the top speed of the gear. When you are ready to do this, click start. As soon as you are done accelerating, the dyno will display how much power your vehicle has.
